About llb-LLB stands for- Bachelor of Laws . In Latin word- Legum Baccalaureus. Its an undergraduate degree , which enables you become a legal professional. After completing the degree you have to register your with Bar Council of respective states to get a license of practice in any courts in India and to give any advice on legal matters. In India , you can pursue either 5 years LLB degree or 3 years LLB degree. The only difference between these two is the duration . In 5 years LLB you study law along with other subjects of you chosen stream for eg- BA Plus LLB or BBA LLB etc in first 2 years and after that only law papers in the rest 3 years.But in 3 years LLB you study only law subjects for 3 years.
